Me as well. It was forbidden to haze. Now things that were considered "hazing" back in the day (early 80s) and today are different. For example, pledges dressed up and walked with our homecoming float in costumes. Today, we have "new members" and no one can require you to do anything that stands out.

There was certainly never anything dangerous I was asked to do, or asked anyone to do, during my 4 years on campus.

We had major hazing at Virginia Tech. Included “kidnapping”, blindfolding, drinking and drinking and drinking… it’s unbelievable to think about what was going on.

That's your come back? That I'm blind? 4 years in a sorority and I never once saw hazing. I had tons of friends in other sororities too.

Some people are seriously desperate with the need to be in the "in crowd". Yikes. How can anyone have any self respect and go through that kind of hazing.

Saw article on Indiana University sorority suspended after telling pledges they had to either "blow or blow" (sex act or cocaine) before telling pledges was a prank. Is that a really rare & crazy example of sorority pledge hazing or is that common? Most curious if anyone has heard of anything similar happening at sororities at William & Mary or UVA?
