I wouldn't read too much into it. Sometimes these are scheduled, sometimes the company may be trying to get a good pipeline of candidates, sometimes they may have more than one position. So many reasons...

If it's a relatively generic posting of which the company might hire several people, I wouldn't think too hard about it. At my company our job postings are separate from our internal recruiting page for that job. We actually just reposted a job for which we have several good people in the pipeline that we'd love to hire. But some of them might not work out for various reasons, so we need to keep the pipeline full.

I once applied for a job on a Monday and got an interview on Tuesday for later that day. I got an email from the recruiter right before my call saying, "Someone just accepted an offer!" A lot of places are interviewing people until the last possible minute, since this happened a few times for me.

Dude. Chill. Being on the hiring side of things we repost jobs all the time even though we have a great pipeline of candidates...heck, even when we have offers out. We’ve had stellar candidates not work out at the last second (competitive offers by other companies, bad references, etc) so it’s always good to assume it’s not done until it’s done. Don’t read into it.

No. It's possible that they didn't even start reviewing resumes yet.
