I told her that I have no idea if she's ready, she won't understand if I tell her to keep her underwear dry, etc., and she said that the whole constantly assessing if your kid is "ready" thing is an older school of thought and to just do it...and now I really want to try! Can someone share their experience with someone around my DD"s age? (Though, I think I will wait for next month due to other restraints in my life). I want to keep it pretty straight forward and tbh am not really sure how as well (in the sense of reading numerous boos to find a specific method, for me, this just over complicates things). My understanding is I keep her half naked waist down until she gets it pretty much? And put her on the toilet every half hour or so?
I highly recommend this. I kitty trained each of my three kids from 18-20 months using the oh crap potty training method. The book takes less than a weekend to read and will be all you need to easily and quickly potty train. Good luck! Hope you go for it!
