It's pretty unlikely you'd be offered a slot in the first round anyway. If you don't want to take it when offered, you just fall back into the pool.

I’d suggest registering as well. There’s no clarity how long it will take to get off the waitlist. If you get off the waitlist earlier than you wanted, you could always cancel and then re-register and try your luck.

I’m low risk (both my husband and I work from home and kids are virtual), I’d like to wait until at least the end of my second trimester to increase the chance of passing antibodies. That being said I still pre-registered (in VA not DC). I figured that the worse that could happen is that I’d have to reschedule.

I would register now. You're probably unlikely to be selected the first round, and the appointments are at least a week out (I got an appointment on March 5 but it's not until March 14). Worst case you get picked early and have to re-register.

I am still in first trimester and hoping to get the vaccine in April first week( that’s when I am in second trimester). Does that mean I should wait to register? Or should I still register now and figure out ways to delay for the next 3 weeks?
