I do, and the bypass will really help safety in the little town, and help avoid the flooding of the stream that always occurs when there is a downpour there and prevent more water rescues.
It is not old growth forest, as most of the land was farmed at one time, and the trees can be replanted.
I just feel the traffic levels didn't warrant a bypass. Again, that money could have been better spent elsewhere on MOCO roads like over in Poolesville.
Which state highways in Poolesville do you want to widen, and why?

It doesn't even have interchanges so whats the point of it??? This is a grotesque use of money, how do I get Hogan to halt this project?
Where is this bypass at? or plan to be at?
Its being constructed to the south of Brookeville and will act as a way to avoid the town which will slow development and kill businesses in the area that need that local traffic.
I’m not a fan of the bypass but there are no businesses in Brookville that will be affected by this. I think there’s a CPA firm on the corner of market Street in Georgia but that’s it.
I'm sorry, I figured there were more businesses inside of the town. Either way, this is a waste of money, we could've used that money to make more meaningful improvements on other county roads

Why would you want there to be interchanges?
Interchanges divide traffic so there are no backups. This will lead to more ubran sprawl on GA Avenue up there and just make traffic worse.
