I’m the no fan poster from above. I fully admit that I don’t possess a deep knowledge and understanding of traffic and traffic patterns. But I can’t help to feel that The amount of trees and destruction of forest land that occurred for a road is unwarranted. Not only is it a big long wide pit, but construction has lasted a very long time. Currently it is a two lane road (One southbound, one northbound) and what they’re constructing looks much wider than that. It will simply create a bottleneck for up the road if that is the case. They have sound barrier walls up and there are still still a lot of work that needs to be done. I can’t help to think that this has been a pet project that has been pushed through and helped along because one of the ex- delegates lives on that street and I can’t help but feel that she just didn’t want traffic in her front lawn.

I'm sorry, I figured there were more businesses inside of the town. Either way, this is a waste of money, we could've used that money to make more meaningful improvements on other county roads

This is a long-needed and long-awaited development for the area.

The road through there has been an issue for many years. There is far too much traffic for the small community and is a danger to the people who live in Brookville. This preserves the small rural community for the safety of the residents and constructs a route for those who need to use the roads for through-traffic. Win-win.

The safety of Montgomery County residents and making the roads more useful for the non-residents of Brookville is a very meaningful improvement for the county.

Why would you want there to be interchanges?

Interchanges divide traffic so there are no backups. This will lead to more ubran sprawl on GA Avenue up there and just make traffic worse.

The whole point of the bypass is to remove the back-up through historic Brookeville. (Which, arguably, will induce more people to drive on Georgia Ave, and then there will be back-ups again.) Where would you put interchanges, and what purpose would they serve?
