One kid had zero symptoms.
The other had a runny nose. No fever.

3 kids - 9, 9 and 12. Two had no symptoms. One 9-year-old had a mild fever for one night.

My neighbors 3yo has the rare inflammatory disease from covid. He has recovered but it was extremely scary. He was in the PICU for two weeks.

DD had it. VERY ill for three weeks. Fourth week started to recover. Some lingering symptoms a year later but lucky compared to some.

Actually it sounds like she was in the unlucky group! I’m sorry. Glad to hear she’s better.

12 year old was sick, with just about every symptom, for a good 2.5 weeks. Took another week to get energy back and a full month to feel back to normal.
It was mild, all things considered, but went longer than expected, and also symptoms varied from day to day which was really frustrating.

It’s so crazy how random it really is... two siblings of similar age and two very different outcomes (though both recovered fine in the end)

15 month old had a mild temperature only in the afternoon (100.2) and diarrhea for 36 hours. This was back in early May. We only tested because our nanny was pregnant. Nobody else ever tested positive.

Not *always* OP, but statistically, it's almost guaranteed to be mild.

How old is your DD, PP? Most of the cases I’m hearing like this are in teenagers, not little kids.

7yo had a slightly upset stomach for 24 hours, a temperature of 99.5 a few days later, and has seemed a bit more tired than usual.

9yo complained of a headache one day.

3 year old had no symptoms. 5 year old had a slightly raised temp of 99.5 for half a day. That was it.

My friend’s 4 yr old has it right now, no symptoms at all.

How sick did they get? What were their symptoms and how long were they sick for? Did anyone’s child have more severe symptoms?

Curious because my 8 year old was exposed by someone at her school, so they were indoors together but masked.

Thanks for sharing your experiences. Everyone says if kids do get it that it’s always mild but is that really true?
