That one is certainly less annoying because the sings rotate. It's fun to take away the different instruments and hear the harmonies isolated. I will say my son lost interest in it at about 20 months but you never know if it will get picked back up.

I'd also suggest a basic xylophone.

My two-year-old received that as a gift when she was one. It’s been a huge hit that has lasted almost 2 years. She still plays with it a few times a week.

DD will be 1 next month. She loves the little piano on her skip hop activity center so I was thinking it might be nice to include a musical toy in her birthday gifts.

Im sure some of you will say oh no dont do it but IMO if it keeps her laughing and occupied and not into things I can deal with the music playing over and over. Any suggestions of ones that are better than others?
