Ive lost a good amount of weight over the past year in some ways felt my stomach looked worse as some of the fat came off because of the loose skin. It's not even that bad, you mainly only notice it when I bend over.

One thing that helped was adding in more difficult core moves in my routine. Thats helped me build more muscle there and it kind of filled out the loose skin a little more.

I lost weight a few years after a big pregnancy weight gain. The skin is quite loose but it still looks a lot better than before. I'm thin and muscled and the extra skin isn't a big deal to me, or else I'd fix it. I would wear a two piece, although probably one that's cut higher.

I am 39 and delivered one 9-pounder. I thought I was lucky that my skin did not stretch out much until I really leaned out. Unfortunately your skin is unlikely to look the same as per-kids but I also agree with the PP that it will be a better look relative to a spare tire.

Try while you can. My 56 y.o. belly looks jiggly no matter how hard I try. I kept an extra 10-15 lbs on for too long. I look fine in clothes and one piece swimsuits but what lurks below isn't pretty.

Yes, but if will look better than the current spare tire you’ve got. However, you can always get a tummy tuck to correct the skin.

You will get some answers here where women will swear up and down that their stomachs flattened right back down, but probably 99% of them are deluded. They are the same women on the beauty forum who claim they are aging like J.Lo.

I’m not overweight but I want to increase core strength, and also lose this sticky-outy belly and small tire I’ve developed.
My question is: at 40, after two childbirths, how is my front going to look if I lose enough weight to make that fat disappear? Will it be a mass of wrinkles because my skin can’t tighten enough?
