No. You get one extra point for AP.

Intensified is important if you want it noted on college apps that you took the most challenging course load available to you.

No, intensified is honors and covers material BEYOND the SOLs. So the class moves faster to get that content in.

Intensified classes cover the same materials as the regular classes for most of the year but the pace is faster.

Yes it means the coursework is more advanced than the regular class. You mostly see this for middle school, grades 9 and 10. Once they are in 11 there are often only regular and AP classes for the core subjects.

Looking at course offerings for next year and don’t understand what “intensified” means. Is that like “honors”?
