My daughter was deferred from Cornell (early decision) and then eventually accepted. Some of the Cornell schools are more competitive than others. It’s easy for girls to get to Cornell’s engineering school, but hard to ILR for example.
If your child is “solid and it’s just a matter of numbers, anything can happen. Again, mine got in to ILR after being deferred.

Wow, great for your child congratulations. Honestly if deferred from Cornell than anything higher is a toss up. Your child has achieved more than most already, that is an impressive list of acceptances.
Ivy day is not the end all, they have an amazing list of choices, I hope that you as a parent get that.

My son got in the Cornell from the RD waitlist if that helps. It was a surprise. He did not do anything aside from saying he was still interested.

Sounds like he has lots of great options already..regardless of the Ivies so congrats.

Has anyone been deferred Ivy's early decision, sent a letter of continuous interest/intent and was eventually accepted?
My kid was deferred from Cornell. We are also waiting for three other Ivys that all come out at the same time...He was accepted to all of the other 6 other schools he applied to-Michigan, UVA etc and had not one rejection.
