I think you’re really underestimating vaccine hesitancy, especially a new vaccine for children. I can’t imagine half of high school students will in fact be inoculated six months from now. Would live to be proven wrong but that seems highly unlikely. I think high schools (and possibly middle) will still have virtual options available for families.
16+ will have vaccines available by May. High School is typically 14-18.
