To waste our tax payer dollars to bail out a republican who needs a job, apparently.

I knew one of his kids a while back. Total entitled loser. Barfed in my sink and didn’t clean it up.

Nothing surprises me with Hogan.

I give Dr. Redfield the benefit of the doubt. He had to have something to get to where he was. I've had the misfortune of working in a politically charged environment where I was trying to walk the line between using my best professional judgment and attempting to reign in misguided political policies that would have harmful long-term consequences. It is soul crushing.

It doesn't look like he had the greatest reputation before becoming CDC director either.

+1 He had no public health experience and had never run anything bigger than a lab. Fck this guy and I can’t believe any of my taxes are going to him AGAIN.

Not just that he had no public health experience - he falsified his research and was caught back in the day!! So astonishing that he was named head of the CDC (and continues to get plum jobs)

Why? Because Larry Hogan is a Republican. What did you think the R after his name stood for?

This honestly seems fishy to me.

+1. plus, at the infamous press conference at the CDC where Trump was saying things like I know more than the doctors, the doctors are so surprised I know more than them, I am such a genius, the other people around had a stony face and clearly did not look pleased, while Redfield was the only one smiling and nodding, not even a lap dog would have done that

Per today's presser Robert Redfield who did such a wonderful job in the Trump administration is now a "senior advisor" for public health in Maryland. Why?
