Call the Bethesda store for mover recommendations. You should be able to love it to storage and then to your new home.

Moved ours cross country last year – no issues.

Take the screen off. If you have the original box, that's ideal. Military family, we've moved ours twice with no problems. I had warranty crank shaft repair a few months after the first move and it was a non-issue that we'd moved it.

We've moved our Peloton 4 times. We take the monitor off and box it like a mirror. Lock the wheel. Covered in moving blankets and taped to keep covered. I was super freaked out about moving it the first time. Took every precaution. It was fine. I've now moved it across the country and it was perfectly fine.

You want to remove the screen for the move. If you have somewhat sketchy movers, move the screen yourself. The bike shouldn't be an issue.

OP here-Thank you to all the PPs. I assumed people did this all the time (and still had functioning bikes afterwards), I just didn't know anyone that had.

OP, I moved my Peloton overseas. There is a ton of information online in how to best prepare your baby for the move. Did you save the box the screen came in? This seems to be the place where most damage occurs. Also lower everything and lock it down, remove the pedals. Good luck!

The bike isn’t that heavy. Perhaps you and your partner can move it yourself if you don’t trust the movers to be gentle. Climate controlled storage should be fine. Now the Tread, I would not move. I’m waiting to buy one until after my upcoming move because of this.

Moving companies do this for a living. If you just want to move the bike, call a piano mover, they specialized in expensive delicate stuff, and I bet they can store it.

I'm moving soon about 30 minutes away from my current home. I have a Peloton bike that is about 1 year old that I love and use a ton. It's been serviced recently, still under extended warranty and works very well. As part of my move, I'd need to put the Peloton in storage for about a month. I'm worried about damage to the bike when moving and storing it. As a result, I'm debating selling my Peloton and then buying a new one that can be delivered when I get settled in the new home. Ideally, I'd like to just keep my bike, but don't want to risk having an unusable bike post-move. Has anyone moved with a Peloton recently? Is it no big deal? Thanks!
