No, it is right. Medical conditions 16-64 are eligible today (priority zip codes only). The system might be overwhelmed right now.

Got a thank you at the end that I hope hasn't been updated because it says nothing about medical qualifiers:

Currently, vaccination appointments are only available for District residents who are 65 years of age and older and/or occupations listed on coronavirus.dc.gov/vaccine. PP, I got the same message. I thought registration was opening today for people with or existing conditions, but maybe they aren’t including us until tomorrow’s appointments.

I'm the pp above you. I kept trying and finally got all the way to the end just now. But I got the below message. I clicked "yes" when it asked me about qualifying medical conditions (I qualify under two of the ones listed). Based on the below message it seems like the portal hasn't been updated to let the medical conditions through to an appointment though.

They opened it up too widely, I think. Tomorrow will be much worse with every zip code competing.

I'm pp. Got past the first screen and now the next scren is blank except for a small message that says "this service is unavailable"

I can't even click the first button "proceed to questionnaire" I was trying on my phone at first and it said the connection wasn't secure so google wouldn't open it. The same thing with Safari. I got on my laptop and it's telling me the site can't be reached?

Got to the zip code page and now its been processing for minutes. Looks like I'll have to try again tomorrow.

I was able to get an appointment the first Thursday I was eligible (also from a priority zip code). Start trying to log on at 8:58 or so and grab the first appointment -- don't agonize over whether it's the perfect time or place.

there has been a lot of discussion on this by the over 65 folks on our local listserv - sounds like they are usually gone within minutes. I would think that's especially likely tomorrow as they are opening up to a much wider eligibility pool.

I am eligible for the first time tomorrow morning. If you've signed up on the DC website as part of the priority zipcodes, what was your experience? Am I likely to get a spot or is it still a matter of luck with all of the spots gone in seconds?
