Right, you can do it any MVA in MD, not just your closest.

I just made an appointment for May as well. Did you check more rural locations, if you are willing to drive that far?

Do make sure you check different locations. We just went through making an appointment, and the earliest date I found (looking at the 3 or 4 closest offices) was May 5. If you're willing to drive further, there might be an earlier opening.

I went to make my son an appointment to take the learner's permit test with the MVA, and the first appointment available wasn't until mid-May. Does anyone know if there's a certain day and time when they release new appointments? I'm wondering if I can get a cancellation or something earlier. Thanks!
