You are O viously bitter your ex left you for someone younger and want to tell yourself it can O ly be because he is flawed. Tell yourself whatever makes you feel better. Men need to feel important and that people look up to them.

When they marry up or their equal they feel inadequate.

When they date below them or somebody younger, they can show them a lot and feel like somebody is looking up to them.

A chick can bang a guy every day of the week but in the end she (by being better than him) makes him feel small he will be unhappy.

He can get an <uglier, younger, older, fat> chick who is just so happy to have somebody and fawns all over him he is much happier. It's not about age or looks or maturity, it's about feeling better than them.

When I got married a second time, it was to a man who is seven years older than I am. I think generally, once you hit a certain age, age doesn't matter so much any more (until you're in different generations). DH is not immature. We are just both at the same level of maturity. He has a little more life experience, and I have a little more street smarts. We balance each other out.

I wonder this. My ex was 36 well off with PhD but emotionally immature. He would also be selfish and lie and cheat. He is dating someone 9 yrs younger after I ended things. Besides him I have another relative whose immature and dating someone whose 21 in his 30s. Oh my auntie who is also immature at 60 is dating someone in his 30s. Trend?
