Thanks so much for checking in, we're testing tomorrow at 9dpt. I've been so tempted/axious to test earlier as I have had on and off mild cramping since 5dpt so I'm really doing my head in with negative thoughts. I decided having a negative test on day 7 or 8 that was probably accurate and still having to wait for a beta and keep taking shots, etc, would be worse than not knowing. I keep telling myself the stats are in our favor with a second FET with another PGT normal embryo, but so far that hasn't gotten us too far yet for this baby.

Will keep my fingers crossed for you!

They say test in the morning because after a night of sleeping your urine is pretty concentrated. If you drink a lot of liquid during the day, it just means you may not get the same result. But that's a *may*. The HPT is measuring a hormone, so if the hormone is there it most likely will show up as positive.

So yes, you can test at night and it is most likely accurate. But for people who try for a long time, they don't want anything but the most accurate answers, so I always tended to wait until the morning.

I did at 5DPT in the evening w/ a positive test but used First response because they are very sensitive.

I’m so sorry OP. Best of luck to you this time!

I always get my positives in the afternoon and evening. I’m currently 6 weeks and I tested negative at 9am and positive at 4:30pm. First morning pee isn’t always the best!

Yes, you can. It should be detectable by then. Especially if you hold your pee for a few hours before testing. Good luck!

I'd like to hpt at 9 days post FET in the evening before my blood test at the clinic early the next morning. This is with a day 5 or 6 tested blast, not sure which this one is to be honest. My husband and I would rather celebrate/console each other in the evening than groggy eyed at 6am on a workday. I'd also rather not get bad news from the nurse on the phone, and somehow the one nurse I dislike is always the one who calls when there's bad news (even though I've requested to be out of her care before).

I know that testing in the morning is typically better, but is 9 days post FET "late" enough that I'm likely to still see a decent color line if it's positive?
