Not all Christians are like that, but because the evangelicals make the most noise, they are giving all Christians a bad name.
Actually it is a group of Evangelicals who call themselves Christian, but aren't, and if they ever were, they have severely lost their way.
They think they are Christians. They have pastors who also think they are Christians. You think they have lost their way. Maybe you are right, but given that there are many sects within Christianity, it's hard to know.
