What happened against Brazil? US wins, again.

Anyone still doubts A. Morgan after today’s performance?

L Williams doesn’t belong on this team. She lacks first touch and technical skills.

Serious question: is Rapinoe natural hair color brown?

Morgan’s play issues level predate childbirth

It's all about marketing. Rapinoe will stay since she is known everywhere. Marketing = money = what they have been wanting this whole time.

Alex was fading in 2017. Even for US she has scored 1 PK since - not counting the Thai scrimmage nonsense
She has always been big and relied on her strike and speed both of which appear to be gone. That header wasn’t close.
Alex doesn’t creat she finishes. Now she can’t finish. Need Tobin back to create. Lavalle on the wing and Heath on wing would create for Alex. I would bet anything Alex’s vertical is 25% of what it once was - she can’t outjump for headers now and doesn’t accelerate - at all. She also hasn’t created for others in a long time.
RPinoe is an utter waste right now. Unfair to judge her against herself but she is a shell of who she was. Still deserves to be playing but is no longer a complement to those around her.
Mewis and Horan and Sonnett and O’Hara are the spine to build around right now.
If Vlatko sticks with Rap and Carli and subs Alex then I Would not expect a win v Brazil Hope for won but that’s different

I am clearly an observer but don't dismiss Morgan yet. I have never given birth but I imagine that she needs some time to get back to her old self. I like Williams and heath on the wing. Both can create. Macario, Mewis, Horan and Lavell are all solid in the middle attack. Outside of Morgan, we still need a legit #9. Lloyd is talented but I am not convinced. The team looked good but I think we have fallen behind many of the top European programs. Watch out for France, England, Spain, and the Dutch. The French look strong.

Rapinoe was an okay roll player surround by other very talented players in her prime. She lost a step before the last World Cup and has struggled in NWSL. She is the face of US women soccer. I just do not see her play justifying a starting roll.

That was Canada’s B team. They were faster, more physical and could pass. Their team speed of play was better. The US players not playing in Europe are turn over machine. Yes they win the ball but quickly turn it over with inaccurate passing. There are 4-5 European women’s club teams that would beat the team the US put on the field last night.

Lavelle actually is very skilled. She was able to score because she was in the right spot and had the skill to finish. A less skilled player would not have scored.

That was a bit of an embarrassment. We looked slow and sloppy. I can't decide if Vlatko thinks that is really the best starting lineup, or is simply catering to the old guard. Let's see what happens against Brazil.

Yeah. We know. Lmfao.

This trash analysis never ends. We could have blown the doors of Canada.

High line and little D responsibility for Rapinoe and little created. She is great on PKs but someone else has to draw them.

Tobin Heath out - ankle (a recurring injury over the years)
Rapinoe - slower and lazier and less to poach
Lloyd - still got it but slower
Alex - slow slow slow and now can’t finish
LaValle to rescue again

Fans should watch this team while u can as this is clearly a final tour
For many of them. Fortunately the up and comers are better.
