Bobux i walks. Still velcro but large flat flaps and easy to slide in.

Saucony Jazz velcro sneakers. Both my kids could put them on alone by age 2. (Occasionally the tongue gets stuck and they fuss about it but I can usually verbally narrate taking off the shoe and trying again.)

Our issue was always the tongue of the sneakers. So my very self-assertive son loved rain boots!

Rain boots, Uggs, Mary Janes with Velcro straps, slip on sneakers, sneakers with Velcro. Pretty much everything. She has always been into shoes.

DC is average in coordination but fierce in self-reliance. I can’t handle his frustration trying to get on Velcro athletic shoes every day.
