Garrison has one of the best principals in DCPS. And the newly renovated facility is beautiful.

You guys lucked out with your principal. When one of my children's schools was looking for a new principal I advocated hard for yours.

I think there was less demand for IPL in some of the upper grades. the most requested grade for IPL was Kindergarten. They managed to bring 40 kindergarteners back for IPL 4 days/week. (They borrowed classrooms from other grades and made 4 groups of 10 kids.) But half the kindergarteners were already sent back to DL for two weeks due to covid exposure.

Not the school's fault. I think they are doing as well as they can. and appreciate that they were able to offer so many IPL seats at the K level.

Love Garrison.

All grades are back for at least one class of IPL per grade, not sure if all grades have additional spaces in those classes, but the school should be able to speak to that if you call.

Thank you! Our child will be entering 2nd grade. Are all grades back for some type of IP or only PK?

How is DL and hybrid going at Garrison? We are considering switching from our charter which seems to have no interest in reopening ever.
