Thanks for this! I've been testing twice (or three times!) a day and still haven't seen the solid smiley. Today I have to decide if I send back donor sperm to try again next month or just assume I ovulated and go ahead with the insemination and hope for the best. Arg so stressful!I'm leaning toward doing the insemination anyway but it's really disappointing -- last time I used these, I got a nice clear reading.
If you usually get clear readings, then I don't think you've ovulated yet this cycle (unless your tests could be off for some other reason?). Unfortunately I think the insemination would probably be a waste. So sorry, these delays are so frustrating!
I mean the last time was the time I got pregnant with my first, so I don't know if that's why I'm reacting differently now -- I'm still nursing, although I've had consistent periods for the last nine months, so it's all very ???
Ah, got it. Well, would it be a financial burden to do the insemination for low odds? If not, it can't hurt. Can you go into your RE/OB for monitoring? Bloodwork and an ultrasound could tell you if you're pre or post ovulation.
