Run around. Play ball. Obstacle course or scavenger hunt. If not on your turf, spot things (how many birds or squirrels, how many cars, trucks or buses). Ask how the year is going. Their sense of how this pandemic went. That it's likely they'll live through a major one again in their lifetime, and what will they remember to do from this one?

4th graders who are friends don't need any help entertaining themselves. They will find plenty to do. Even if they're not friends, they'll become friends absent unusual circumstances.

First of all, who are they? How do they know each other? Are they friends? Cousins? neighbors? Do they like each other? Are they sporty? Why do you have to entertain them? Why are they meeting? ie are you babysitting or they like each other? I think once you answer those questions we can help better.

For example, for good friends who haven't seen each other they may want to sit and talk under a pavilion. Bring fun food.

If they are sporty they may want to kick a soccer ball. If you are babysitting and they don't like each other you may want to cancel if you can't be outside ( because of the weather)
