Well, in Jersey you may find your legs broken. In MoCo the county will probably call you a saint and pay for you. In NOVA they’ll vilify you on social media.

There are actually clubs, including in CCL, that have all fees going through the team (treasurer). It’s crazy, but reality.

If your club took out a loan for covid assistance then I assume it will forgiven by the club. I mean your cost may be slightly higher next year to payoff what you owe but it makes sense.

In Virginia, nothing really. It will affect you playing within a certain system for that seasonal year. So if you stop paying a club that’s in USYS, you can’t play for any other USYS club. But you can for US Club Soccer.

If you're in Maryland, the club will report you to MSYSA, and your child will not be permitted to return or be carded at any other club. The club will likely take you to small claims court, or write it off.
But, do not be that parent/family. The clubs are not rolling in money, they are trying to get by, just like every other small business. And your child accepted a spot, aan you made a commitment to pay a fee for the spot that another child didn't get.
