Wrong, you can hire a company to create a sponsor and pay outright.

Hired two recent grads with no experience in their field of study because they were unable to secure a job.

Never start your career during a downturn. Tell him or her to go to grad school. Trust me, I had friends laid off after 1 year or less at Bear Sterns, Lehman Brothers. It was BRUTAL.

I’d do my best to go straight into a graduate degree to ride it out and exit with better credentials. Livening your parents basement for a year is a bad idea.

They should get. A security clearance ASAP.

Or go get a job at an Amazon warehouse. Easy to move up/around internally, great benefits and the best way to get a new job is to have a job.

Daughter is also graduating and no job yet. My advice? Network with alumni. You already have something in common. I try to help fellow graduates any way I can.

How do they connect with Alumni?

What was her major?

Saw a job for an "internship" stating that an MBA was a "nice to have." It's rough out here. My suggestion would be to network like hell.
