What happens after 6 months?

We're giving the baby away.

Hehehe kidding! LO will go to daycare. There are no openings at the affordable, nearby daycare until then. We are on a budget and trying to make things work; we'll use combination of savings and frugality to afford a nanny for a couple months

Is it possible to stagger the parental leave and cover the full six months? Or even for one parent to take unpaid leave for a short time? A short term nanny will be very expensive, and if your budget is that small, I'm thinking both parents don't really earn much any way (I'm not trying to be mean!)

Go through an agency. It’s expensive but is the only way you’ll get a guarantee for the full two months.
