Thanks - no tours of the indoor spaces at the moment due to COVID. There are videos but its not quite the same.

Both of my kids spent 3 years at CCUMC and we loved it and I actually thought Pre-K was the best year for both of them. It's a really good mix of play and academics and they were SO well-prepared for Kindergarten. It's a very sweet little school - we miss it!

We have experience at both schools, although our time at both places came to an end several years ago. We loved that CCUMC had a handwriting curriculum, as we found that public schools do not teach writing mechanics ("this is how you write an R. Start at the top and make a line straight down....etc). The CCUMC pre-k did a great job of mixing both play and kindergarten prep. See what is offered at each school today as it is possible that it has changed.

Can anyone share their experiences with CCUMC and CCPC? They seem very similar except that CCUMC seems more "academic" and CCPC seems solely play based. Are kids that go to preschool at CCPC sufficiently prepared for Kindergarten in MoCo (which seems to have ridiculous expectations about reading ability for 5 year olds!)
