Who is this insane poster, really? There is a person who keeps posting rankings of things like "most faculty and alum influence", and "most winners of X prize." I and every other parent I know can't imagine giving a sh!t about inane things like this.

"Faculty and alum influence" for God's sake. What an absolutely stupid thing to compile a list of. I can't imagine trying to direct my kids to a school based on something that utterly idiotic.

Hardly “by far.” CMC has some great buildings. It’s a southern CA campus, not some simulacrum of some transplanted Northeastern slac. CMC is a conventionally liberal school now. Keep up.

Pomona has by far the more beautiful campus; Pomona is more liberal but that's not to say CMC is conservative. CMC is excellent for Political Studies. Pomona is excellent for everything.

Excellent schools. Can't go wrong unless you're a super hippie-where you might be a better fit for Pitzer.
