Untangled is probably the best Teen book I've read. It's not solely focused on queen bees but it is addressed. And overall offers good insights/coping mechanisms for these years.

Oh this made me laugh! I have no doubt that many church goers are nice people, but I have met MANY bible devotees who are simply nasty people. Church does not always equal good person.

Not to mention that the Bible is generally abusive to women. What an awful idea.

Also - you might be able to find some videos of the authors for these books. I was able to attend a speakers series with the author of Untangled earlier this year. Sometime the speaker with Q&A can help accelerate the support you need.

Maybe time to watch a medley of mean girls movies with your daughter and discuss the characters’ progression. I recommend:

-Saved! (Hilary Faye)
-Heathers
-Clueless (although not strictly about mean girls, Tai’s transformation is instructive)
-And of course, Mean Girls (discuss how Cady and Janice are themselves mean girls)
