DD, a junior, took AP Physics and AP Calc for first semester. Because HoCo schools went to a semester-based schedule, my kid just finished these classes, but the AP tests won't happen until May. If your DC is in this situation, will they be taking the AP test? My DD got such poor instruction in both classes that we are thinking she should skip the tests. She is already planning to take 3 or 4 other APs and doesn't want to dilute her studying efforts on subjects that she's not interested in (she's planning to apply to colleges as a languages/linguistics major). What is your kid doing if they're in a similar situation?

I have to say that it's pretty irksome the way the schedule's been created, but I'm trying to be understanding of the situation.
