Version C doesn't have Good Friday off. Easter is like a regular weekend.
Even if they adopt version C, I suspect it will get changed because people wouldn't be ready for an abrupt switch from a whole week off to nothing off.
I'm the poster who suggested just getting Good Friday off. I know my version of the calendar will never pass because most people want a 2 week winter break. I grew up in FCPS and remember when we only had a week back in the 90s and early 00s (didn't pay attention to when it changed). It was fine, which is why I suggest it, but it's not happening.

Really good point. Has Loudon already passed their calendar? Apparently FCPS isn't even voting on it today, just discussing.

I do agree with that. I just don't know why they made a huge deal out of being inclusive by adding these new holidays, then changed it. Is it because of an outcry? Because it makes fall a tad more awkward and lengthens the school year? I'm a Christian, so don't celebrate these religious holidays, but I can totally understand the argument that we should have them.
My dream calendar would have a fixed spring break, just a week for Christmas, Good Friday off, and the 4 identified holidays. That way we'd still get out early and we'd hit most major religious observances.
