My kids liked David Levithan’s books. I think Every Day was a favorite.

For a bi heroine, check out C.B. Lee’s Not Your Sidekick.

Here’s a list of YA books featuring bi characters. I’d look for reviews of the titles; some are definitely geared for older kids.

My girls loved Drum Roll Please, by Lisa Jenn Bigelow. I’d also recommend Ivy Aberdeen’s Letter to the World by Ashlee Blake and The Mighty Heart of Sunny St James, also by Ashlee Blake.

Romances, crushes, coming out stories etc. She loved watching some movies like the Half of It, Happiest Season, Let it Snow recently that had lesbian storylines. She would love to find some books that had lesbian characters/ storylines too.

Hi, my dd (12) would love to read some fiction that featured LGBT storylines/characters. Looking at the YA books in this area I am struggling to establish which books maybe suitable for younger teens. I would appreciate any recommendations anyone may have. Thank you
