Are you so sure that messaging will stick when AOC is already coming out strongly against the move by Robinhood? She is literally the polar opposite of Alt Right.

She just needs to delete a few tweets and write some new ones about the conspiracy that was behind this and that if she was fooled, then we MUST protect the taxpayers.

I don’t understand your point...”blaming it on the alt right” is making it about politics, right? Yes, to serve capital, but using political tactics. Politics are pretty much synonymous with money right now in this country.

The guys defending the decisions to not allow retail investors to buy anymore (while still allowing hedge funds) were so ridiculous on CNBC today. They were making up all kinds of nonsense. This was clearly a play to make the price fall so their hedge fund clients and friends could get out with smaller loses then what would have happened tomorrow.

It’s always been rigged. They make money when the market goes up and they make money when it goes down. I believe there’s a place for the stock market but the money they make is out of proportion

It seems like as long as you only invest in the same way that your grandparents did then they will allow us a modest return. And if you need your money when the market is down...well...“them’s the breaks, poor little fish”.

As soon as there is movement that benefits the outsiders then it must be regulated out of existence immediately in live time!

They already got away with it. Some hedge funds sold on the drop today to limit their losses. They still lost but not as much. Any fines or consequences will not be in the billions that they already saved.

Shorts are risky, loses can be infinite. That’s what they always said to justify the gains and money they make.....loses aren’t so infinite it seems when you can change the system when they get too large.

I think a lot of change is coming from this. More oversight of institutional and retail, and maybe less shorting of really low
stocks — too easy for everyone to pile in. Tomorrow will be interesting w GME and AMC.
