But, what does that say to the high school kids you tell to avoid peer pressure, to cope with cyber bullying, to report cheating, to not be a lemming? If you, a grown ass adult can’t stand up to your peers, how do you expect HS kids to do it?
It’s an honest question. If this is where adults are, what are modeling for teens?

There is nothing wrong with being quiet to avoid bullying. Sheesh. OP has enough on their plate, they don’t need to have the added burden of “hero.”

However, I am afraid to speak up because I know I will be attacked by other teachers.
There are many of us who want to go back and feel safe going back. We understand that with appropriate mitigation strategies, we can open schools.
But if we speak up, we are bullied and attacked. Some of us have tried to speak up on social media - but we end up getting our posts deleted and reported (on school and educator pages) and banned from groups.
We want parents to know - there are many of us out there! But we are being silenced by a very vocal minority.
Some of these teachers want to stay out of school forever. Now saying they won't go back, even after being vaccinated. This has been a difficult 10 months, we need to get back to school.
