My health insurance is $480 and my employers don’t pay any of it. Thank you for caring about your nanny.

We pay almost $800 per month for our nanny and her dependent.

We pay $400/month. That covers her insurance and a bit more she just pockets.

My employers asked me to pay it online every month, first run the household card, then finish with mine. Since it was paid with their household card and they could see the charge, I didn't need to furnish any proof of what it was and that I was using the money appropriately.

Nanny pays premium monthly, gives you a copy of the payment, then you reimburse up to agreed amount.

My personal Kaiser plan was $380 two years ago. No dependents. My employers covered $350.

Our new nanny (single) has Kaiser and we pay about $100/month. But pretty sure she’s getting some income based subsidies or the plan is a very basic one.

Open a small business kaiser plan, it will cost you 2-320 a month with no deductible and you can write that off. Don't let them do the aca or pocket. FYI there is no requirement for then to get health insurance so they pocket it, better to open a small business plan and also get the deduction.

Does she get insurance through her spouse? If so, she is just banking that money. If not, that is probably 1/4 or less the cost of a family plan. On the ACA marketplace, most PPO family plans can go up to $5k a month (though some are cheaper like HMOs or Kaiser). To put it in perspective, many employers pay more than 50% of the premium.
