I like this idea but can’t picture it - the trim is a different color than the main cabinets? I have never seen this look.

Oh boy! Painting cabinets can be easy or ruin your life if you're wanting a professional look. A friend and I painted a french blue on oak veneer cabinets. If it's oak, just give up and use refacing or buy new cabinets. It's a long story. First, I had to fill the grain. Has anyone installed blue-gray kitchen cabinets or painted or refaced existing cabinets in a blue-gray color? If so, what color did you choose, and what other colors do you have in the kitchen? Did you regret your decision?
