Subject: DD wants to transfer schools within LCPS
If the receiving school is below capacity, you do not need a reason. If the receiving school is at or above capacity, it’s a non starter.

Subject: DD wants to transfer schools within LCPS
We live in the Leesburg area but she’d like to attend an Ashburn school. Has anyone gone through this process? Is it difficult or just filling out paperwork?
It’s for academic reasons. She had a great teacher who transferred and would love to continue under her wing.
