I think there is a lot of stress out there about supplementing being bad. I supplemented due to breastfeeding jaundice, baby losing birth too much weight, breast milk jaundice, anesthesia I had that was unrelated to childbirth and the non-OB doctor recommended pump and dump, and being hospitalized suddenly so someone else had to feed the baby with no stored breast milk. I was still able to breastfeed both kids for well, well over a year each.
I left an extra word in there. I meant baby's weight dropping too far below birth weight.
