Just take AP Econ and get an easy A. That's what all my kids did. Satisfies the requirement and is a nice 5.0 grade.

People answering should verify if they are answering for the last 1-2 years or before that. Before that, it was much easier.

It’s so easy to do over the summer. Both of my kids had it done in a week or two with not much effort.

And it’s not going away. Zero chance.

2-3 hours a day max. My kid who did this a few years ago tells me that the answer keys to the tests are all available online and a lot of kids cheat off of that.

I don't have any insight on whether it's likely to go away in the future. It's a state requirement. Also no idea how it might have changed since 2019. But DS took it online this past summer and found it to be manageable, requiring a few hours a day, several days a week. I think they're learning quite a lot of useful information, and I say that not only from talking to DD and DS about it but also from having seen some of the assignments DS did this past summer. I've been curious about the course content for years and finally had a chance to take a look.

Before I encourage my 8th grade APS DC to do EPF P/F online in summer, I wanted to check the wisdom of the group... Is there any chance that the EPF requirement will go away in the near future? Anyone hear any buzz, one way or the other? And if it is staying, how much different is it now versus when my older DC took it in 2019? Vaguely recall hearing it changed.
