Looking at the rosters and the social media of the winning teams, it seems like the local club kids did pretty well. Under PP comments about money grab, but lookking at those faces there seem to be an awful lot of smiling faces which are pretty slim pickings these days. I'd say thats priceless

The event website lists the players who attended the clubs represented and the coaches running the teams. This should provide some information on the skill level of the event along with the social media posts from NLF. If anyone is interested all of the information is there

They're all money grabs...in fact, name one event around a youth club sport that isn't? The people taking the risk and putting on the event are in it to make money and provide some level of experience vs the amount paid by the consumer. If you think it's not worth the money, then fine. But we can all label any event that our kids attend as money grabs.

This poster is going thread to thread quoting "money grab." It's super easy to avoid the money grabs out there...don't go. Those that go find out for themselves but unless you've attended all the events and seen the finances and return you shouldn't call it a money grab. From first hand knowledge these events don't make as much money as you think and if kids get value out of it they (or their parents) should pay.

Highly recommend especially for the younger grades.

I agree with you assessment but it is only open to 8-10th grade. Really a first look for the sophomore class. Since it is NLF teams the competition is at a high level. IMG has amazing facilities.

What’s the NLF IMG thing going on this weekend? Was that an invite only camp? I’ve noticed attendees are pretty random.
