My friend's name is Claudia and she was named this in part because she's from an international family and it works well in different languages.

In her mom's language, it's pronounced "Cloud-eeya" and that's how she pronounces it here. She just said "it's pronounced like the clouds in the sky" and everyone "got it" permanently as soon as she said that.

Claudia is a beautiful name which isn't over-used. I also love Lauren for the same reasons.

It’s my mom’s name. She doesn’t really like it. I think of the character from the show warehouse 13, who was pretty cool.
