Do you want ideas for him to do alone or for you to do with him? or training companies that you can send him to? If the latter, what area are you in?
If you want ideas for him to do on his own, there are TONS of youtube videos on footskills, 1v1 moves, etc. Also very important, find him a wall or build him one where he can just kick the ball off the wall over and over and over again working on different touches to receive, etc. As for for things you can do with him, taking into account you know nothing, you can just pass back and forth with him. One touch and two touch. You can go outside and have his try to dribble past you using his 1v1 moves he was practicing. You can make a box or even the basement or garage and have him dribble around and you try to get the ball from him why he shields the ball and dribbles away from you. You can be passive at first and then steadily increase the pressure. And last but not least, juggle, juggle, juggle. There are all sorts of ways to juggle. Using both feet, one touch alternating feet. Just try to keep it up using any foot. Use inside of foot. Use outside of foot. Use thighs. Get a shoulder in there. Get a header in there. Try to pop it up over his head every few touches. Pop it up high and try to take a touches to dribble away once it hits the ground. Anyway...just some ideas to get you started.

Can someone point me to a place to teach basics for an 8-year old who played for 2 years until the Covid happened? I want to keep his skills up.
