I want to be very careful here and respectful of the family but as a MoCo resident the platitudes about the death of former Democratic Senate President Mike Miller and his career ‘accomplishments’ have been hard to fathom. This man created a corrupt Democratic machine - and basically used MoCo taxes to stay in power. (Spreading out cash to the rest of the state for very little in return here - just look at our school buildings). Where is the next Robert Caro to write the real Mike Miller story? This man seemed more like Robert Moses than Moses...yet respected journalists like Bruce Depuyt and Seventh State praise Maryland’s Boss Tweed? Can anyone enlighten? (In fairness he wasn’t alone - Michael Busch the speaker of the House seemed equally at fault for the state we are in).
