Yes. Eat low volume, fewer calorie foods.
Instead of pasta buy some weird palm hearts pasta. Also shirataki pasta. No sugar added ketchup and sauces.
Someone posted a whole head of cabbage recipe with chicken on top in an iron skillet in the oven. I made it without chicken, delish!
An enormous bowl of broccoli and cauliflower.
make a plain cabbage salad when hungry.
Shred cabbage, add salt and vinegar, and eat an enormous portion of it.

OP you absolutely have to eat more. 1200-1400 is the amount of calories recommended for my 3 year old. I am not kidding. See a nutritionist that works on intuitive eating, this will just backfire (i've been there! I totally get it) your body will revolt and you will end up eating more and gaining more in the end, it's been shown time and time again in research.

Look up refeeding syndrome. If you eat less than 1000 calories per day for an extended period of time, and then increase your calories, you could have heart, organ, or brain damage, or even die.

Whoever gave you that calorie count must have an eating disorder. You feel like you are starving, because you are actually starving.

PP you don't know what you're talking about. OP, I'm short as well when on a diet I consume 1,000 calories per day.

Great tip.

For everyone commenting on the calories. I'm under 5'0, this is recommended for my weight loss. Not talking about maintenance calories but but to lose weight it is under 800.

Woah, how did you calculate 800 kcal? That is extremely low.

You need to eat more calories.

I’m convinced you can’t lose weight without feeling hungry. Just like when you gain weight you felt over stuffed at too many meals. You have to push through it until your body resets the calorie level it wants.

I’m 5’0 also so I also need very few calories.

Below 1200 is unhealthy and no true health care provider would recommend this.

Started my weight loss journey late December. My calories are very low under 800 a day to lose due to my height. Lately I've been feeling starving. Any suggestions to curb appetite?
