Not sure what this outfit charges but if you are looking to learn about college recruiting in low stress/high impact place NCSL (local, lower tiered league) offers really solid combine for reasonable fee - maybe 200 bucks. The advice above to contact the coaches with a clip from games comes directly from that seminar. Usually held around thanksgiving.

Humble recommendation. Have your son or daughter start emailing the schools they want to go to. Have short highlight clips without music. Have whole game film if its requested available. Play on a team that goes to college id showcases and or high-level leagues. Email coaches your schedules. Visit the schools on your own. Let the coach know you did so they know you are serious. Sets your sights high but also have fallback schools if this is your passion. Stay away from the large id clinics unless you are a huge impact player or you have contacted a coach that will be attending so they can focus on you. Not a fan of the services offered by agencies to get your child recruited.

My kid did the Maryland Id Sports that just happened. I would not recommend a 14 year old attend these events. You are much better off paying for training from your club or get individual training. These are best suited for Sophomores, Juniors, Seniors trying to get in front of specific coaches for college exposure. The few hours you have go fast and I've seen just as good if not better from club coaches, ODP and the like. My kid is an 04 Junior looking actively. There was an 08 there playing the same position. It wasnt even fair for the 08. Playing against others that are 3,4,5 years older than you for what reason exactly?
My kid attended to get in front of two specific coaches. If that were not the case I would question the value and purpose of this type of event. Clearly I see no purpose in it for younger kids outside of the immediate recruiting age range.

Hi everyone,

Has any parent had their child go through the camps or showcases for this organization?

I have a 14 yo boy who has played soccer on the A/B team for a few Prince William clubs and some training with HP Elite and other camps/non-club training. For some of his more talented past teammates who have been scouted and done US team camps or camps at their parents countries, it looks like their path to college soccer if they choose to take it will be smoother. He is currently doing travel soccer, we did not try out for DA when it was available. Professional soccer at this point for him I think is more of a dream, just being realistic yall!

My son says he wants to continue playing soccer, so that is why I am looking into it. I received an email from ID Sports USA and figured for the cost their camp may not be a bad experience. Soccer for his HS is in spring so he hasn't played on that team yet. I am not after scholarship money, and wouldn't want him to be hampered by his choice of major by being a college soccer team.

Any reviews/experience with this organization would be very helpful. Also, if you could point me to the thread that has college soccer focus that would be great. I was really active on this forum prior to the soccer topics being given its own section but haven't been since.
