As a Realtor, it depends. Offers sometimes come in at the deadline and I need to verify the financing, review terms, create a spreadsheet if needed of the offers. Then, review them with the seller who may have further concerns/questions. While I would love to say within an hour or two, it may be the following day. Your agent just has to asks. I have a deadline set tomorrow morning but I have meetings scheduled until lunch. Won't talk with seller until thereafter.

I think so. We were the highest offer and heard we got the house 4-5 hours after deadline. I'm assuming those other hours were spent calling the buying agents & seeing if there were any escalation clause offers under ours.

We heard 4-5 hours after deadline time was set that we were the winning offer out of 15 offers.

My guess is around 8 or 9pm. If sellers have young kids or demanding jobs, it may be later.

By 3pm then usually late that same night, but possibly the following morning. Sometimes it will be close between 2 offers and even with a real estate agents direct advice the sellers may request to sleep on it.

We were on the buyer side - seller had a 5pm ET deadline, and we heard we were the winning offer at midnight. No idea what was going on between then.

We had 3pm deadline. We discussed the options with our realtor at 8pm. He called the winning offer's agent 15min later. Not sure when the other offers heard.
