Uh oh! Cabell Maddux incoming!

I would add that while Madlax camps are ongoing throughout the summer, they are for the most basic of players, typically their Capital player don’t even attend. If you want intense, where your kid will learn a lot go to Black Wolf camp. He may cry the first day, but he’ll survive.

Bullis and Landon each have lacrosse camps that are geared to all skill levels. You may want to check the status of summer programs this summer. Covid may restrict.

Mad lax camps are money grabs--don't bother, your son won't learn anything and will stand around a lot. Ditto for Blackwolf camp--not at all good for beginning player and so much time spent standing around waiting for reps. Episcopal has a good camp that I think has day and sleepover options. Can't remember the name of the group that runs it but you can google.

Yeah, NL camp is probably best. Fun even for beginners.

Gonzaga and Prep are good camps but appeal to more experienced players.

Navy and UMD are awesome but not as much fun unless you are already a good player.

My son has attended a lot of camps. Wouldn't recommend Navy or UMD overnight camp to a beginner player. You might want to check out Next Level's day camps. They have several options at several locations. perhaps also Georgetown prep. Gonzaga's day camp is good, but I am not sure that one would be good for a beginner - others could weigh in on that.

Thanks!

The Next Level and Gonzaga summer camps are both great. Not sure they have posted details for this summer yet. I’m sure there are others depending on where you live.

Thanks. I will check these out. Much appreciated.

Do you know whether the Navy camp is any good?
