Just say you're very anti-gun and you monitor for guns in your rental.

Fortunately, nobody is saying, "It's ok to rent your AirBnB during inauguration week, just make sure it's not to a potential terrorist."

Yes of course. No one should be coming into town that week. Obviously I’d prefer to see tourists rather than terrorists but the responsible thing is for everyone to stay home.

There will be plenty of people coming into town to celebrate the inauguration. Obviously it will be nothing like it would be in normal times, but it will still be a lot of people.

I don’t think armed militia is a political affiliation.

So does this apply to large corporate hotels? Or just your everyday small landlord?

Nothing? Why is there something for you to do?

Well, right now I'm just keeping an eye out for any suspicious activity via our outdoor security camera, but doubt we will see anything - they have been so quiet and we haven't noticed anything abnormal. Of course if we see them pop up on any of the insurrection videos, then we will certainly report them via the DC and FBI tip lines.

This is satire of East Germany right?

As a DC landlord, I can't kick someone out of my property for breaking the lease, including non-payment of rent. You think I somehow have the power to kick out someone for their political affiliation?

If you host a local AirBNB or VRBO, activists are asking you to take down your listing for Jan 17-20, so that you’re not hosting anyone for the militias that are planning armed violence during the inauguration.
