We had one as a rental, felt cheap and a poor ride. Our old Honda Element was better.

Yikes, I've heard about their transmission issues. but wondered why I see so many on the road.

They are cheap, but have horrible transmission problems. Buyer beware.

Oh wow! Yeah, I see A LOT on the roads. I wonder if by the time people realize the problem, it's too late to return the car. While test driving I did hear that noise too, the salesman tried to say it was the tire or something!

I had a 2020 Rogue as a rental last year, it was miserable to drive. It handled dreadfully and it was absolutely gutless, pressing the accelerator did nothing besides making the engine louder.

To its credit, it has a lot of tech and safety nannies if you're in to that sort of thing. But it's absolutely mindboggling how Nissan sells so many of them. Just an objectively bad car.

I had a 2010 Nissan Murano SL. At the time when I bought it, there was little difference between the Murano and the Rogue. It was a money pit. Countless things needed to be replaced prior to 80k miles and it died one time when I was driving - i luckily could coast to the side of the road in a safe spot to wait for a tow. Nothing was ever an inexpensive fix, either. Nissan does not design for the owner to fix stuff - changing the battery, oil, air filters are not as easy as they were on other cars I've owned. I love the look and styling of the Nissans, great features, but I wouldn't buy one again. If you're someone that doesn't keep cars for too long, it may work for you.

We have a 2020 Rogue SV. We're a family of 4- 2 adults, 2 teen boys. We've been happy with it, but have not driven it like normal since we bought in January 2020 and then everything shut down and we started WFH in March. We put less than half the mileage we would in normal times.

Hi, I'm looking to get a Rogue SL. does anyone have any experience with them? How does it drive? Any major maintenance issues? I see a lot on the road, which makes me thinks its a good crossover for my family (total of 4 of us with 2 kids).
