Wow, that is just terrible.

It’s a $1m house.

That is one weird house. And the marble-floor basement — wtf is up with that? It looks like a super tacky illicit nightclub. In a residential neighborhood in N. Arlington.

I walk past it all the time. It's pretty terrible. It would require so much money to fix the weird issues that it would be easier just to buy a different house.

Now that's a teardown. Check out the Google street map—what a monstrosity.

If I had more money, I'd buy it and put up a house that fits the neighborhood in its place. Maybe a nice 1750 square foot brick ranch.

Let me get this straight- the new owners would have to tear down 2 sides of the house and move them back 9” or more? I wonder what that would cost.
The basement looks like a giant bathroom.

My goodness the trim and the ceiling trays are awful.

It's an okay house, massive for the price, but then imagine what the utilities are.

The choices of lighting, tile, trim, etc. are kind of terrible.

I have looked at this house since we started house hunting earlier this year and can’t believe the original price was $2.2m in 2017 and now it’s $1.35m?! I would never buy it because one of our no go’s is to not live on a busy road. But plenty of houses sell on busy roads so it can’t be a deal breaker for everybody. I also think the paint job is hideous, but still.

Is there really no buyer for this sized house in Arlington at this price point?
